Below are a few creative uses for it!
- Feeling a draft in you home? Cut out a sheet of bubble wrap, spray your window with some water and stick it flat against the window.
- Cover your windshield with a sheet of bubble wrap the night before. If it snowed overnight, just simply pull the sheet off and all the snow will come with it. No more scraping off your windshield!
- Wrap a sheet around your pipes and outdoor spouts during the colder months to help prevent bursting.
- If you’re looking for more creative ways to spruce up your paintings, try using pieces of the bubble wrap dipped in paint.
- Help keep your outdoor dogs warm by putting sheets of bubble wrap on the inside of his dog house. This will help insulate it, and keep your pet warm during the colder months.
Fun Fact: In 2012, the makers of the bubble wrap conducted a survey and respondents said that just over one minute of popping bubbles provides the stress relief equivalent to a 33 minute massage.
Tips for Shipping Food in Holiday Care Packages:
When you are shipping any store bought or baked goods, it’s very important to label the package correctly, especially sending internationally. Food items can be sent from one individual to another individual, not a company. On the customs forms, your food items must clearly be stated as a gift for personal consumption.
- Avoid sending food items that can’t withstand heat or other extreme temperatures, such as chocolate.
- Before packing it in a box to ship, make sure your food is sealed in an airtight container to help make sure the items don’t break or crumble.
- Fill in any air gaps in your containers with pieces of bubble wrap to help keeps your goods intact for the journey.
- Use a Pringles chip canister as a cookie cutter, then use the same container to ship them. This way, it ensures that they will stack perfectly and won’t crumble on the travel.
